New to the flock

All other decorations are gone but I added a little holiday for the whole year to my desk at work. I found my dad's bobble flamingo and brought him in to join my other flamingos.

Almost forgot

11:42 MST so I'm not late but I nearly missed the second day. I didn't take any pics today so here's Paul, squinting at the flash, with my soon-to-be-more-used sewing machine in the background.

I'm going to try again to post a picture every day this year. I'm starting 7 days into the year but...better late than never? Here's Sammy (left) and Paul keeping me from the newest issue of "Cooking Light" in the cutest way possible.

Nappy

I need total darkness to sleep well and also enjoy a day time nap so I've purchased more than my fair share of eye mask thingies.  Every one has had some flaw but I finally found the perfect one!  It totally blocks out light (it has a great little padded part under the eyes) and it is comfortable. It is a suede-ish material so I call it my "blue suede snooze". Props to Bed, Bath and Beyond for helping me sleep a little better.
